Fame tv cast reunites on U.K. stage for 40th Anniversary Concert
The original cast of the tv series Fame will reunite on a U.K. stage to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series. Three Fame U.K. Reunion concerts will take place from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 September 2022 at Birmingham Town Hall. The reunion is initiated and produced by fans as a charity event to benefit both Claire House Children’s Hospice in Liverpool. There is also a meet and greet convention, which will take place on Sunday 11 September at the Birmingham Rep. VIP concert tickets, fan events and convention packages are available through the website. Regular tickets for the concerts are available through the box office. All tickets go on sale Saturday 10th December 2021.
The Fame U.K. Reunion concerts will feature no less than seven original cast members of the Fame tv series: Valerie Landsburg (Doris), Lee Curreri (Bruno), Carlo Imperato (Danny), P.R. Paul (Montgomery), Cynthia Gibb (Holly), Jesse Borrego (Jesse), and Loretta Chandler (Dusty). The cast is brought together by life long fan Sue Hinds who, with a team of volunteers, is producing the show in aid of the wonderful and worthy hospices.
The Kids from Fame are one of the biggest pop acts from the 1980’s, emerging from the immensely popular television series Fame. The show ran for six seasons. Five television soundtrack albums were released. Due to huge demand, the cast members did two concert tours as ‘The Kids from Fame’ in the UK, Europe and Israel, including the Royal Albert Hall.
